I am currently shipping a native iOS music app, hand-crafting everything from the UI to the custom data pipeline and recommendation algorithm. Building this end-to-end gives me the technical fluency to help a modern design team rapidly adopt AI-driven workflows. By connecting code and design, I can unlock high-fidelity prototyping, sophisticated motion, and a level of product polish that was previously out of reach.

This execution is backed by over 8 years of experience leading UX initiatives at Google, Amazon, and American Express. My approach is grounded in a unique visual discipline forged during a decade as a studio assistant to the artist Robert Longo, where I obsessed over the precision of monumental, large-scale drawings. Google, AI for Cloud Business Intelligence

Senior Product Designer | January 2024 - December 2025 | San Francisco, CA

  • Led design by advocating for a redesigned UI for the early-stage product, Data Canvas in BigQuery, an AI-first canvas interface for exploratory data analysis that grew monthly active users by 63% during the first 6 months of my tenure.
  • Established the foundational patterns for an advanced AI agent authoring tool across BigQuery, Looker, and Looker Studio for data experts to add context and improve agent accuracy. Early evaluations saw a 10%-20% increase in accuracy for agents with authored context.
  • Assumed overall UX management for a major initiative to bring an AI-powered conversational analytics experience to BigQuery, streamlining design delivery and serving as the primary cross-functional POC across 2 product and engineering teams to go from design to release in a single quarter.
  • Designed core chat components that included agent responses with visualization and advocated for the migration from Material 2 to 3 for Conversational Analytics in Looker Studio, an emerging chat-with-your-data product.

Amazon, Buy with Prime

User Experience Designer | September 2022 - November 2023 | San Francisco, CA

  • Designed growth and onboarding features for merchants using an early-stage B2B product, Buy with Prime, enabling customers to use Amazon Prime benefits on third-party e-commerce sites.
  • Streamlined a complex partner API connector for automated checkout emails from a highly technical flow down to a simple 3-step setup, achieving significantly higher task completion rates in usability testing.
  • Designed a pricing calculator and global account management features for multi-account users to simplify cross-channel merchant operations.

American Express, Enterprise Mobile

Lead Product Designer | January 2019 - August 2022 | New York, NY

  • Served as design lead for multiple product domains, including Search, Chat, Benefits, and Loyalty for the American Express consumer-facing native mobile app, which served 20M monthly active users in 20 global markets (iOS and Android).
  • Designed an offers experience feature that resulted in a 533% increase in the target OKR of year-over-year offers added to card.
  • Contributed to the mobile design system, serving a globally distributed team of 20 designers and ~60 engineers. Key contributions included data visualization, input fields, maps, motion design guidelines, and a semantic color system that enabled dark mode, which saw a 40% user adoption rate in the first month after release.
  • Partnered with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to create a 3-year vision, shifting the information architecture of the mobile app from an account-based to a customer-based model and adding the first checking account product.
  • Developed the first design QA process used on the mobile team, which significantly reduced post-release design bugs.
  • Conducted monthly usability testing sessions using high-fidelity prototypes to inform product decisions and reduce design risk.
